FPR: A Fuzzy Pattern Recognizer Based on Sigmoidals

Abstract: FPR is a fuzzy pattern recognition system that utilizes sigmoidals to approximate general functions. Given an input and a pattern specification, FPR produces a continuous output. This system has been implemented using the BB1 blackboard architecture and is currently applied to a medical domain.
