ACCOMMODATION

Stanford Sierra Camp is located on Fallen Leaf Lake near the south shore of Lake Tahoe, California. The Camp rests on 20 acres of lakefront property, at the entrance to Desolation National Wilderness. Workshop attendees will be lodged in two- or three-bedroom lake-view cabins. Participants may choose a shared bedroom and shared bathroom for $108 per night (incl. tax) or a private bedroom and shared bath for $124.20 per night (incl. tax). Please indicate preference for private or shared bedroom. The prices include lodging, all meals, and use of recreational facilities (tennis, sailing, canoeing, rowing, etc.)

In order to secure the conference rate for accommodation, all participants are expected to stay at the Sierra Camp, arriving on the day before the workshop (May 20) and departing on the last day (May 24). No partial stays are allowed. Refunds will not be made for missed nights or meals.

The Camp cannot accept credit cards, and there is no place at or around the Camp to exchange foreign currency. Therefore, we advise you to have some cash on hand for your incidental expenses.

If you wish to bring family members along, please get in touch with Ms. Grace Smith. The rate varies depending on the age of the accompanying person.

If you wish to stay longer to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, there is a large selection of hotels around Lake Tahoe since it is a major resort area. Unfortunately, the Sierra Camp is already booked for the weekend following the workshop.
